Positive performance from Isaynonono

A rise in trip paved the way for Savabeel filly Isaynonono to break her maiden in convincing fashion at Seymour.
The three-year-old was making her third career appearance off the back off a fourth placing at Geelong over 1400 metres and relished the mile on Monday afternoon.
“She’s improved with every start and we were confident the step up in distance would be right up her alley,” trainer Gavin Bedggood said.
“If she pulls up well we’ll keep her going, she’s doing a great job.”
Isaynonono broke well to sit in second spot and forged clear in the run home under rider Thomas Stockdale to put her older rivals away.
“She’s probably still six months off her best, she’s still got some furnishing to do,” Bedggood said.
The filly was sold by breeder Waikato Stud for $80,000 at New Zealand Bloodstock’s National Yearling Sale to Ohukia Lodge who reoffered her at the Ready to Run Sale where she was bought by Victoria’s Mailbag Bloodstock for $160,000.
Isaynonono’s dam is the late Fast ‘N’ Famous mare Rehab who is a half-sister to the G1 Queensland Derby winner Brambles, whose brother Lincoln Blue won the G3 Wellington Stakes.
Rehab’s son of Tivaci, named Monte Cassino was purchased by agent Paul Moroney for $140,000 at Karaka last year.

Taken in command with treble at Flemington
Ardrossan’s promising son Taken extended his winning streak to three with a dominant all-the-way performance in the Darren Galley Mile (1600m) at Flemington. Bred by the Dewar Partnership, the progressive three-year-old showed class and determination, continuing to underline the impact Ardrossan is making with his early runners.
