A Magic A$2.7 million result for the Waikato-Bred star Atishu
A remarkable chapter in the Atishu (ex Posy) story came full circle on Tuesday, 27 May at the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale, where the daughter of Savabeel fetched A$2.7 million in the ring, closing out an exceptional racing career with a fitting finale.
Offered as a yearling through the Waikato Stud draft at Karaka, Atishu (Savabeel x Posy) was sold by Steve Davis for $260,000 to longtime WS supporter Albert Bosma of Go Racing NZ. Racing exclusively in the Go Racing silks, she quickly established her talent under Stephen Marsh in New Zealand, stringing together four consecutive wins.

In a fitting full-circle moment, it was once again Steve Davis who took the rostrum today to offer Atishu on behalf of her connections. His gavel fell at A$2.7 million, with Yulong Investments securing the blueblood mare for their elite broodmare band.
