Bold Contender added another victory to his CV when he scored with authority over 2150 metres at Coffs Harbour on Sunday afternoon.
Trained by Andrew Parramore, the genuine son of Ocean Park was allowed plenty of time to find his feet by rider Ben Looker.
They settled at the tail of the field before making a move 700 metres from home and the 5-year-old produced a stirring finish down the outside of the track to win going away by 2.2l.
He now has three victories to his credit along with 12 placings from 22 appearances.
