Fast N Famous Gelding Glides to Impressive Hong Kong Debut
26 March 2012
Fast N Famous’ 3YO son Can Do glided to a super impressive debut win in Hong Kong last night.
Prepared by John Size and ridden by Douglas Whyte, Can Do jumped straight to the front from barrier two draw and after making all, skipped clear in the straight to win going away by 2 and a ¼ lengths.
Bred at Highview Stud, Can Do is out of the Gr.3 winning Snaadee mare Snadame and is a half-brother to the Gr.3 winner Senorita Dane (Senor Pete).
Can Do was originally purchased at the 2010 Select Yearling Sale by Aquanita Racing for NZ$80,000 and is now owned by Bankee Kwan Pak Hoo, for whom he has already returned around NZ$60,500.
“He was an attractive type and a real good walking horse and he sold accordingly,” said Highview Stud’s Brent Gillovic of his NZB sale.
