Incessant shines at the Coast

Former high-priced yearling Incessant has made an impressive start from his new quarters in Queensland.
The son of Savabeel finished runner-up in two starts for Sydney trainer Annabel Neasham before relocating to Jack Bruce’s Deagon operation.
The three-year-old finished runner-up on debut and at the Sunshine Coast on Sunday afternoon he effortlessly went one better over 1200 metres for rider Ryan Maloney.
The Waikato Stud-bred and sold Incessant settled in fifth spot on the fence before working into the clear 400 metres from home and proved far superior to romp home by nearly three lengths.
Incessant was purchased out of the Matamata nursery’s draft at New Zealand Bloodstock’s National Yearling Sale by the Queensland-based TFI for $850,000.
He is the first foal to race for the O’Reilly mare Relentless Desire who is a half-sister to the multiple Group 1-winning farm graduate Metal Bender and the family of the G1 New Zealand Oaks winner Amarelinha.
Relentless Desire has an unraced two-year-old sister to Incessant named Smart Love and is in foal to Noverre.
