Kinloch continues winning roll

Kinloch (Ashlea Brennan)

The well-travelled Kinloch remained unbeaten this preparation after claiming top honours in
Saturday’s Listed Sunshine Coast Cup over 1400 metres.

Part-owned by Waikato Stud, the Kris Lees-trained son of I Am Invincible had successfully resumed at Randwick earlier this month and continued on his winning way in Queensland.

Kinloch settled well back in the field before rounding off strongly in the run home for his seventh career victory and pushed his stake earnings beyond A$840,000.

He was bought out of the draft of breeder Jamieson Park, who remained in the ownership group, at New Zealand Bloodstock’s National Yearling Sale by agent Bruce Perry for $300,000, who also has a racing share in the six-year-old.

Kinloch is a son of the More Than Ready mare More Beautiful, who was successful five times and is a half-sister to the G1 WATC Derby winner Grand Journey and to the dam of the G1 Galaxy H. winner Griante.
