Line Seeker Makes it two from two since return

The Paul O’Sullivan-trained O’Reilly gelding extended his successful racing resumption to two from two in Hong Kong on Sunday.

The four-year-old was successful over 1200 metres at Sha Tin – his fourth victory of a seven start career.

Line Seeker has been patiently handled and had returned from a six month break to score at his previous appearance in January.

Line Seeker is bred by Waikato Stud and is out of the stud’s well-bred mare Hooked Ona Feeling.

Hooked Ona Feeling is a daughter of Zabeel and the multiple Group Two winner Ugachaka. She has a 100 per cent record in the breeding barn for WS and is currently in-foal to Sacred Falls.

Interestingly, all four of her foals by the late O’Reilly have been successful and include
  • Bishops Castle 09g – winner of six races in Australia
  • Blue Swede 10g – who has won seven times in Singapore
  • Line Seeker 11g – 4 wins in Hong Kong
  • O’What a Feeling 12g – winner at 1400m in 2015 in Singapore
