Magnifico! Pacifico wins Whangarei Gold Cup Stayers’ Final
Ardrossan’s progressive son Pacifico delivered a commanding performance to take out the Whangarei Gold Cup Stayers’ Final at Ruakaka on Saturday, 28 June.
Backed up just seven days after a strong win over 1600m, the Andrew Forsman-trained four-year-old relished the step up to 2100m and once again proved too good for his rivals. Bred and raced by the Carter family’s Jomara Bloodstock, Pacifico is the 10th foal out of the Montjeu mare Carib.
