Orion strikes career win #3 for Moody

O’Reilly 4yo Orion struck the third win of his career at Caulfield on Saturday.

Trained by Peter Moody, Orion won the 1600m contest under Daniel Stackhouse with a length to spare over Refulgent.

The well-related bay gelding is raced by his breeders David and Angelia Paykel, along with Mrs E J Radich.

Orion is out of the unraced Bertolini mare Alzira, who is a daughter of the Champion 3YO filly in Australasia in 1995-96 and NZ Filly of the Year ALACRITY(Grosvenor).
