Smart sprinter Tomorrowland set for Rotorua
8 October 2015
Stakes winning sprinter Tomorrowland is making good progress toward a return to racing.
Runner-up in the Gr.2 Foxbridge Plate when resuming, he was side-lined by a hoof problem that came to light after he tailed the field home in the Gr.1 Makfi Challenge Stakes.
“Three days after Hastings he had a really nasty blow out in his heel that took weeks to come right,” trainer Danica Guy said. “It was an abscess that had been brewing for some time.”
Tomorrowland galloped well on Tuesday morning and he will resume in the Gr.3 Lion Red Plate at Rotorua on Saturday week.
