The White Horse with SEN Radio
On Wednesday, The White Horse’s morning looked a little bit different than usual with Gareth Hall, or ‘Hally’ as he’s known, broadcasting his SEN radio show live from our headquarters.
It was a very good morning and thank you very much to Gareth and his team for coming to Waikato Stud from Australia to learn more about what we do, our environment, our people and our horses.

Waikato Stud farewells Posy
Bluehen mare Posy, dam of Group 1 winner Atishu, Group winner Mazzolino and stakes performer Dream All Day, has died aged 17. Retired to Waikato Stud in 2014, she leaves a lasting legacy across three generations of quality, durable racehorses and broodmares.

WS-breds shine at the Racing Victoria Off The Track Carnival
Last weekend saw many retired racehorses and their careers compete in various disciplines, and one star who shone brightly was Eden Pearson’s 10-year-old ott horse, Tango. Once racing as Does It (Pins ex Just Be Cos), Tango raced 45 times, winning on five occasions and accumulating prizemoney of $275,550 before retiring in June 2024.
