Street Artist returns with five-length statement

Friday marked the return of Super Seth’s son Street Artist (ex Pink Graffiti), resuming as a three-year-old after two runs at two. Trained by Anthony and Sam Freedman, he jumped from barrier three in the eight-horse field and was simply dominant, cruising home to score by nearly five lengths.

With Group 1-winning jockey Mark Zahra in the saddle, Street Artist pinged the gates, rolled to the lead, and the race was over in a flash across the 1000m dash at Mornington.

Bred by Waikato Stud, he was offered at the 2024 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale where Anthony Freedman Racing secured him for $470,000. Out of the winning Ocean Park mare Pink Graffiti, Street Artist is her second foal. She is due to foal to Super Seth later this month.

His sire Super Seth closed out the 2024/25 racing season with four Group 1 winners, making him the only New Zealand-based stallion ever to achieve four elite-level winners within his first two racing seasons. In Australasia, only Danehill bettered this feat with six, while Redoute’s Choice matched the four, placing Super Seth on par with his broodmare sire.

Super Seth stands this season at $75,000 plus GST.
