Seth’s Girl on fire with three straight

Frosty Girl (Super Seth ex Oh So Chilled)

Wednesday at Warwick Farm in the windy, hot conditions blanketing Sydney the past three days it was Super Seth’s four-year-old daughter Frosty Girl (ex Oh So Chilled) who turned heads when carrying 60.5kg and making it three-straight wins.

In the colours of prominent Kiwi owner Glenn Ritchie and trained by Chris Waller, it was James McDonald who guided the filly to win for a third occasion, all victories at metropolitan level with a debut win at Warwick Farm by 1.66 lengths, her second at Randwick by half a length and this win at Warwick Farm.

In a small, tactical four-horse field, McDonald sat one pair back and rounded the leading pair on the corner to run away by 1.15 lengths.

Bred by Waikato Stud in partnership with Gary Wallace, Frosty Girl is out of the O’Reilly mare Oh So Chilled, a half-sister to Listed winner Savacool. She was purchased by Chris Waller Racing and Mulcaster Bloodstock for $150,000 from Waikato Stud’s 2023 New Zealand Bloodstock Karaka Book 1 draft.

Oh So Chilled has a yearling filly by Savabeel and is expecting a foal by Noverre this season.
